A Minimalist Lighting Environment That Maximizes the Effects of Light

ModuleX® was selected for the Toranomon office of Paiza, Inc., which operates paiza, a platform for IT engineers seeking new jobs, new careers, or learning opportunities.

To embody the company’s concept of “Unleash Your Unique Potential,” the office features art inspired by programming languages throughout, creating a playful environment for IT professionals.

For this project, we engaged in meticulous planning to maximize the value of the space within the given constraints. We concentrated lighting fixtures incorporating the latest optical control technology in the reception and art areas, which are signature features of the office, to enhance the appeal of the venue.

In particular, the ceiling of the iconic reception area features a design inspired by the 10 PRINT code, as a representation of the excitement and possibilities of programming.
To accentuate this design, we employed our proprietary Filter Lighting® technology to eliminate the visual presence of the lighting fixtures and bring only the ceiling design into view.
Spotlights featuring advanced optical control trace the pattern with light, creating an iconic space in which the architectural design and light blend into one.

In the office area, we arranged spotlights in a minimalist configuration to precisely illuminate each individual workspace and the art pieces interspersed throughout the space.
Combined with our original Gradation Lighting Design™, this creates a pleasing sense of rhythm throughout the space, elevating it into a workplace that inspires creativity.
