Hands-on Presentations of One-of-a-Kind Homes
ModuleX® was selected for TOKYOGUMI’s HUNDRED PROOF showroom to provide a comprehensive set of solutions for everything from proposals for the lighting plan, design and installation of the circular LED display and projector, and video content production through to system integration.
In order to maximize the facility’s role as a showroom where visitors can experience the appeal of custom-built homes and the scale of the spaces through all five of their senses, we designed an experience that seamlessly integrates light, video, and the venue itself to heighten the anticipation of creating a home to the utmost.
The projection deck, the facility’s most distinctive feature, incorporates an innovative function that projects full-scale floor plans onto the floor, allowing visitors to walk through them and physically experience the scale of the home.
In the center of the space, we installed an iconic circular LED display measuring 3,600 mm in diameter that serves as a striking visual focal point, and created and incorporated dynamic video content that visually reinforces the brand’s identity.
Ultra-short-throw projectors that project floor plans onto the floor are also concealed within the ceiling, eliminating visual clutter to create a sense of immersion and draw visitors into an extraordinary experience.
Under the lighting plan, to ensure visibility within the exhibition space, we created a highly uniform lighting environment where visitors can accurately appreciate the textures of building materials and other details. During video presentations, the balance of illuminance is adjusted for each scene, ensuring that the lighting and video content resonate with one another.
Designing the lighting, video, and controls as an integrated whole enabled the creation of an environment that combines exhibition functionality with experiential value. This resulted in a hands-on showroom where visitors are able to intuitively envision future homes while experiencing the brand’s aesthetic through all five of their senses.
