ModuleX® was selected for use in the Koshigaya Laketown store of GODIVA Café, where customers can enjoy many kinds of original chocolate drinks, including the popular Chocolixir series.
The client's request was to create a space inspired by modern European aesthetics that evoke Godiva's roots, combined with a sophisticated atmosphere that perfectly fits with the urban environment, and draws customers' line of sight from outside the store and naturally motivates them to enter it.
We used our proprietary lighting design method, Lighting Modulation in Viewing Angle Range, to emphasize the large white wall at the back of the store with soft lights using our wall washer downlights. At the same time, we used our original Gradation Lighting Design to illuminate the high ceiling visible from outside the store. By combing these design methods and techniques, we created a lighting plan to realize the client's request to guide customers' line of sight into the store.
In addition, by using our proprietary lighting design method, Filter Lighting®, we achieved a uniform brightness on all table surfaces without casting shadows of the pendant lights suspended from the ceiling. We also used our original environment control technology to manage the entire store ambience, creating a comfortable space even for customers who spend a long time there.
