I-PRIMO Ginza Flagship Store

When wedding ring specialty retailer I-PRIMO relocated and upgraded
its Ginza flagship store, it chose to use ModuleX® lighting.

The aim on this project was to create a space with a high-quality,
elegant look that is inviting to enter. To formulate a lighting plan
to satisfy this need, we used our original Lighting Modulation in
Viewing Angle Range® lighting design method to analyze the
psychological impact of the visual sensations experienced
in each area of the store.

To provide lighting for the impressive atrium, a space deigned to
express the I-PRIMO brand, we used custom-made Motif Bespoke
lighting fixtures.
We repeatedly conducted simulations using our unique development
method, Lighting Realization, making it possible to check the finished
lighting effect and the shape of lighting fixtures even at the
designing stage. This allowed us to realize the image faithfully.
Using glare-controlled fixtures on the ceiling surface also allowed us
to make the lighting fixtures imperceptible, enhancing the elegance of
the lighting even more.

We even conducted extended testing at our studio to study how to
highlight the brilliance and transparency of diamond cuts,
to maximize the visual allure of wedding rings and the feeling of
satisfaction when they are held in the hand. The client was
very satisfied with the fruits of our effort—a bright, open space
with attractive lighting that draws people into the store.
