ZOZO moved their headquarters to West Chiba and ModuleX’s lighting
was adopted.
With the concept of “West Chiba – the city crossing the imagination
and creation”, the main office was built with the thought
to produce the connection between the town and company and
was awarded the “New Office Promotion Award/Creative Office Award”
in the 34th Nikkei New Office Award in 2021.
In reagrds to the request not to expose the light to wall
and ceiling which was woven by thin woods like a fabric,
we finely verified and adjusted the positioning
of the lighting equipment in lattice work.
We provided the appropriate lighting environment for the workplace
and the place to communicate by our original lighting design method
“The lighting modulation in the viewing angle range”
considering the balance of the lighting energy in the whole space.
At many works of art and the bookshelf suggestive of the library,
the soft lighting produced by our original “Filter Lighting”
could enhance the space by adjusting the luminance balance.
The characteristical ceiling with fine impression is produced to
makes such large space more prominent by the gradation
of natural light from the highside light at daytime and
by the reflected light from floor face at night time.
