The campus of the former Rissei Elementary School, which is the
valuable modern architecture completed in 1927, was closed,
was renovated and converted to RISSEI GARDEN HULIC KYOTO.
ModuleX products were adopted there.

With the theme “The lighting harmonizes the old and new existed
in the town”, we produced the lighting planning for the comfortable
space balancing the visual luminance in order to fit in the town.

When you go to the reception, bar lounge, and restaurant on the
top floor from the entrance lobby at the first floor, the landscape
which provides a great view of Kyoto welcome the guests.

We can balance the natural light and the artificial light for the
ideal lighting environment by our original lighting design method
“Time sequence design” so that people can feel the transforming
from a downpour of light at daytime to the light with full of
atmosphere at night time. The lighting environment is performed
and controlled by the “ModuleX Controls” holding the
lighting environment control technology.

In order to reduce reflection on townscape, we adopted our
minimum size ModuleX 60 with glare-controlled and our original
Filter Lighting® design, so that we provided a user with the
superior space where it does not make people feel the existence
of lighting equipment.
