The ANNEX of NIHOMBASHI TAKASHIMAYA S.C. opened
in September, 2018 and ModuleX’s products were
selected to be used in this project.
In the lighting environment of a commercial space
where visitors come and go, it is necessary to
have a lighting design which considers the
comfortability, safety, and designability.
We were able to implement the harmony of design
lighting and functional lighting by being conscious
to the “brightness which provides a sense of
security” and an “illuminance balance utilizing
the design features”.

By using a hardware technology that has no glare
and maintains high evenness even with a small
number of light fixtures, and together with
a comprehensive software technique which
balances the illuminance, brightness, design
lighting and functional lighting, we provide
integrated lighting solutions which create
an attractive-looking space where visitors
can spend time comfortably.
