MASAKAZU ISHIBASHI, the sushi restaurant in Ginza, opened in November, 2017, and adopted ModuleX’s lighting fixtures.

The interior design of this restaurant is focused on the texture of the wood. It can be found from the wall to the ceiling, including the shushi counter which is made from the plain wood.

We proposed the lighting design to make the details of interior design stand out, considering the appropriate lighting balance.
In addition, our lighting design successfully led the customers to recognize each individual space on the table.


【Point of Lighting Fixture】
As the solution not to interfere the characteristic ceiling design, the trim-less frames were installed. It not only makes the size of the down light looked smaller but also sets off the ceiling design more attractively.
